The 7th Biennial Conference of the International Consortium for Social Development Asia-Pacific (ICSDAP) on social unrest, peace and development to be held at Islamic University on 14-15 September 2019

ICSDAP’s 7th biennial international conference on “Social Unrest, Peace and Development” is going to be held at Islamic University, Kushtia. International Consortium for Social Development, Asia-Pacific Branch (ICSDAP) and the Department of Social Welfare, Islamic University, Kushtia are jointly organizing this conference at IU on 14 and 15 September, 2019. ICSDAP’s conference is going to be arranged for the first time in Bangladesh. Over a hundred social development experts, scholars and researchers from eight countries of Asia, Europe and Australia will participate in that two-day conference. The university authority has taken a massive preparation to make the conference a grand success. The scholars or researchers will present papers on the following topics:
a. Civil war, refugee and social unrest
b. Economic discrimination and its impact on peace and development
c. Population growth and social unrest
d. Globalization and immigration and how they appear as a challenge to ensure peace and development
e. Gender disparity, violence, peace and development
f. Disaster management and an ambience of peace and development
g. Peace, education, social enterprise and sustainable development
h. Social unrest, peace and political process (or crisis)
i. NGO for mitigating conflict and establishing peace and development
j. Role of the young generation to remove social unrest and to establish peace in local and national levels
k. Racial, religious and social unrests and how to establish peace and development.
