The office of the Registrar is run by the following rules supported by University Act, Statutes and Ordinances.
I) The Registrar shall act as Secretary of the Syndicate, the Academic Council and the Board of Advanced Studies and shall maintain a Register of Graduates in accordance with the Statutes and shall excesses such other function as my be prescribe by the Statutes and the Ordinances.
II) The Registrar shall be the residential Officer of the University.
III) The Registrar shall be the custodian of the records, common seal and such other property of the University as the Syndicate shall commit to his charge.
IV) The Registrar conduct generally the Office Correspondence of the University.
V) The Registrar perform such other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Academic Council and the Syndicate or assigned to the Registrar by the Vice-Chancellor.
