Message From Dean
Religion is the part of life. Bangladesh is a multi religious country. Comparative Religion works for finding out similarities and differences among religions besides the searching the truth. Finding similarities to work together on common issues and finding out the differences to define the strategies how citizens can coexist with peace and harmony although these differences are remaining in society as well as trying to search the truth by evaluating the all religious issues for the sake of humanity. On these surcomtance, this faculty entitled the Faculty of Islamic and Comparative Religion has been established at 27 January,2025. It is mentionable here that this faculty had approved by honourable President of people republic of Bangladesh through the second statute of this Islamic university at 1988 according to the Islamic university scheme at 1977 of the than Government. It's our immense pleasure to run this primary faculty of this university which is included now four departments as follows;
Department of Dawah and Islamic studies
Department of Comparative Religion
Department of Muslim Philosophy
Department of Aqidah and Ideology
I hope these departments will effectively contribute to promote significant study , research and work through convincing, instructions dawah and dialogue and meet the goals of the comparative religion as these are mentioned above at international standards and qualities besides establishing the Bangladeshi society as a model for whole over the world.
