Overview of the Department
a) A Brief:
The Department of Development Studies at Islamic University, Kushtia -7003 was established on 3rd October, 2017 with a view to providing dynamic and innovative teaching on Development Studies as well as fostering quality research on the Development-related problems of different countries and regions in general and Bangladesh in particular. The aim of the Department is to establish itself as a center of excellence in the field of Development through high quality teaching, original research works, capacity building efforts, and development of qualified human resources to promote development for Bangladesh in particular and also for the developing as well as the under-developed countries of the world in general.
