Dr. Md. Ershadul Haque is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Folklore Studies at Islamic University, Kushtia-7003, Bangladesh. He received first-class in both the graduation and post-graduation examinations from the Department of Folklore at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2009 and 2010, respectively. In 2019, he obtained his Ph.D. degree entitled FOLKLORE OF THE OCCUPATIONAL COMMUNITY IN NORTH BENGAL: EXPLOITATION AND PROTESTATION from the same department. His research interests include International Trends of Folklore, Urban Folklore, Occupational Folklore, Indigenous knowledge, Folksongs, Folk Culture, Applied Folklore, Cultural Heritage, and Community Engagement.
